Event/workshop/walk/course/experience: These terms are used interchangeably and refer to whatever workshop, experience, walk, course or other you have paid for

Acceptance of terms and conditions

By completing a payment and booking of a particular workshop, client is agreeing to the terms and conditions set out below

Bookings

When a booking is complete a client will receive an email confirmation of a order.

Cancellations and transfer of a ticket for a course by a client

To cancel or transfer a workshop booking please notify us by email hello@meadow-lab.com.  

If you cannot attend a course you can transfer your booking to another course or date subject to availability, in which case any payment already received will be held on your account for a period of up to 12 months and can be used for any course* during that time.

*apply to courses with the same price or it will require additional payment in case of more expensive courses.

You can transfer your booking to someone else long as you notify us who will be attending at least 4 hours in advance of the course.

Depending on the time of cancellation in relation to the date of your booked workshop, your refund will vary in amount; 14 days or more = full refund, 14-5 days 50% of the workshop fee, and less than 5 days no refund will be given.

Last minute cancellations

Although our terms and conditions apply to all bookings we do try to be flexible and if you feel your cancellation is due to exceptional circumstances please do contact us.

Non-attendance

Any non-attendance on bookings without prior cancellation will not be transferred to another course and all payments received will be retained.

Cancellation by provider 

 If for any reason we are forced to cancel the booked workshop due to unforeseen circumstances  then client will be entitled to

  1. A full refund of the fee or
  1. The opportunity to rebook on another date subject to availability.

No extra compensation will be given.

In the event of cancellation, we will endeavor to give as much notice as possible and will notify you using the contact details registered while purchasing a ticket. Please make sure these are correct and up to date.

Health and safety

You will receive a short briefing on health and safety at the start of your course.

We are not liable for any damage that occurs to clothing or other belongings.

New measures are in  place to keep people safe and to stay in line with government Covid-19 guidelines.

  • Please follow government guidelines in regards to covid-19.
  • If you have purchased a ticket, but you are unwell. Stay home and  let us know. You can transfer your booking to another course or date subject to availability, in which case any payment already received will be held on your account for a period of up to 12 months and can be used for any course* during that time.*apply to courses with the same price or it will require additional payment in case of more expensive courses.
  • Courses currently run with smaller groups, with up to 10 persons where appropriate.
  • Safe distancing is to be maintained throughout the events, and the program is  adjusted to support this.
  • Bring your own hand sanitizer and use as necessary on the course.
  • Food tasters are prepared in a hygienic kitchen and where necessary, clients will be asked to bring their own cup and plate (details will be sent out a few days before the event).

Apply to outdoor courses:

Please wear comfortable shoes and clothes suitable for weather conditions.

Be prepared that the natural habitats can be wild, bumpy and subject to natural hazards.

Intellectual property, copyright, and acceptable usage

Full copyright of course content is retained by Meadow Lab. Course notes and reference materials are provided for personal use only. If you would like to share our course materials or parts of them please contact us for permission.

Your walk/workshop offers an introductory insight into wild foods or fermentation. No responsibility can be taken for participants’ future foraging carried out after and away from the provider’s supervision. It is highly advisable that all future foraging should be done under the supervision of a suitable professional, or else at the risk of those choosing to carry out such activities.
